i love ya tho. ya comments are hilarious always

It’s not worth talking about anything besides “bounce that ass” pop music with people on here. Haha Only pop acts can be Influential and relevant even though hip hop artist dominate charts most of the time ha.

Okay Im very much aware of the rap community and this is the most false thing Ive read :laughga:

It’s really not, the migos style is what’s hot and many rappers use their rap pattern and style. If you were in tune with the rap culture you’d easily see that.

No shade, I like her :lolly:

Totally, I have nothing against her

I just told my friend "I'm pretty sure she got a dog called Africa, moved to Malibu and started a farm"

I actually agree with this.

The previous points I made in this thread are by no means undermining Afro American culture.

What I was trying to say was Migos’s flow that inspired a lot of new rap songs is kinda like the Justin Bieber dead animal sound, trendy for a while dead in a year or two.

I have also briefly lived in the white world as an ethnic minority (I’m an Asian). Of course I don’t totally get all your struggles just like you won’t get mine. I’m not only giving credits to while pop girls.

It’s just that to me, Migos are too new to be considered influential. If the influential comment was made about NWA or JayZ or Tupac or Drake or Kendrick Lamar or Nas or Snoop or Birdman etc, etc. I would definitely agree with that because these names are proven by time and have influenced a new wave/generation of rap but making a few trendy successful tracks that influenced other few trendy tracks. In GGD language, it’s kinda like claiming Alessia Cara or Dua Lipa super influential. Calling them influential only make sense when they have a much longer career tbh. That’s why I made the BEP comparison.

Rich people's problems...:triggered:

People in the world die everyday of hunger, or in the middle of a war. And these dumb clowns are fighting over some ridiculous sh*t that they can solve talking to each other directly and not via twitter.

They definitely have some rap-inspired elements. Whether the rap is good or not is another thing but it’s undeniable that they attempted to rap for a verse or two in nearly every songs they made.

I have never identified them as a Hip Hop group. I said EDM rap-talk. EDM is the main ingredient and rap-talk(arguably a genre of rap) as one of the small parts of their music :ladyhaha:

The comparison was made because they represent the trendy sound at that moment and Migos, this moment. Not because they produce the same genre of music.

sis do you even know about rap/hip hop? they are extremely influential and pretty much every single new hip hop artist adopted their style of rapping

but i'm NOT going to debate that w someone on this website because you have shown time and time again that you only know about white people pop. so this debate is cancelled

Which is unfortunate, because they are literally ****. Hip hop is in the gutter now When it comes to lyrics.  Wake me up when Kendrick, NF, and other lyricists start topping the charts.

In 2 years time Migos would probably be as influential as Black Eyed Peas in 2018. Forgotten and partly disbanded :ladyhaha: having few hits doesn’t immediately make you a legend.

And don’t attack me by calling me white. I’m an Asian and I grow up listening to music of people of color.

how do you dare comparing The Black Eyed Peas' success to Migos :rip::rip::rip: :grr::grr:

:ladyhaha:
