DiscoHeaven23 35,007 Posted April 11, 2018 Share Posted April 11, 2018 I just realized that Drake is going to end up keeping himself from beating Mariah Carey (and now Luis Fonsi)'s record of most weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Mariah's "One Sweet Day" and Luis Fonsi's "Despacito" spent 16 weeks at #1. Drake's "God's Plan" has spent 11 weeks at #1 so far and has been far ahead of all other songs. It seemed on lock that the song could spend more than 16 weeks at #1. With the release of his new song "Nice For What", it seems like the song will take #1 from "God's Plan". If not this week, in the next few weeks. "Nice For What" is streaming double the numbers of "God's Plan" on Spotify and it's #1 on iTunes, while God's Plan is #7.
