I'm sure its every straight man's kind of movie. You will be surprised how many gay men that not just adoring movie like The Devils Wears Prada or Sleepless in Seattle kind of movies but also more cult and masculine even weird. Besides the movie is not tailored for Gaga fans alone. It already have its own followers, Gaga fans only a little bit numbers compares to them really. I think that's the exact reason she wants to be in it, either to push herself into a new audience, or **** it up with the new audience.
