Remember in the 60 Minutes interview, I think, she was saying how BTW (the single at least) was meant to be obvious and that she wouldn't sugar coat it. Maybe that was also the goal of the photoshoot. Either way, I think she got a little carried away. Good point, I guess she wasn't going to let the theme go under the radar, but then again.. the album cover isn't exactally too clear (at least at first) on the ideas she was trying to express . Bit of a side comment.. but I think actually - at least for me anyway - in the BTW she was a lot more explanatory in her intentions, and you could always sort of for-see the intention in the direction she was going to be headed (though I guess that's because the album was mainly motivating anthems). She opened up alot more with her public persona.. as a sort of relatable, loving, honest, sweet, normal, chatty, humorous girl, rather than the mysterious, ambigous, crazy, serious, artistic, who knows why, 'weird-gaga' that she was perceived moreso before.
