stefert 34 Posted April 7, 2018 Share Posted April 7, 2018 IDK but i think it may be about a woman who was unexpectedly caught cheating by her boyfriend, they fight loudly, butĀ the phone rings, interrupting them,Ā and sheĀ tellsĀ him to pick it up.Ā HeĀ doesn't and there's tense silence. I think it's implied at the end of the song that he gets furious and beats her, possibly even killing her since a gun is used as a metaphorĀ (they never really knew it then how to do it then with the safety off the trigger).
