That "mess" single-handedly saved Vogue's face by preventing them from clocking in with a LOSS last year.

That doesn't mean the shoot is good. Her fans buy anything with her name on it, hence BTW's success. The Vogue shoot is one of my least favs, but I still bought two copies & hung it on my wall :nails:

One of my all-time favorite Lady Gaga shoots.

Her fans don't appreciate true high fashion. At all. It's surprising tbh, seeing as so much of her attire comes from world-renown designers.

I guess a lot of her fans don't walk into Sephora or watch runways, and see the hair/make-up on those people.

Agreed, sadly, that a lot of them don't. And some fans' desire for her to continually conform to everyday beauty/fashion standards is the complete antithesis of what Gaga is doing - she's expressing herself artistically while removing boundaries of what the public deems "beautiful", and she always succeeds.

Good for you. I got two as well. And I was just saying that calling that shoot a "mess" was going too far because it didn't hold back any sales, did it? It's your opinion that the shoot wasn't good, it's not everyone's opinion at all.

Very true. I think their reference for what looks "good" is Britney Spears and Beyonce, so when Gaga does something more high fashion than either of those pop stars would ever dare, they don't know how to react.

Nope, as a guy who's not into women's high fashion, I do not appreciate true high fashion, nor do I care.

Just a bit of a sidenote, but even though Gaga looks amazing and it's a pretty good picture, I can;t help but thinking this photoshoot would've been a lot better someone else had shot those exact same sets. Richardson takes good candids, but not fashion shoots.

This this this. Its time people realised she will not conform to the publics view on fashion or beauty, her crazy outfits sometimes just aren't to shock, she is a dedicated lover and follower of fashion, minus the music and to be honest that's what gaga is, fashion. And fashion can be crazy
