What does everyone think of aim by M.i.A

It's a very debatable album. I've seen it getting reviews ranging from 1 to 10 stars. I think it's sort of M.I.A's Joanne in the fact that it's a relevant album but it ain't a bop worthy album

AIM is not her strongest work to date. Only second to Matangi. And if she really meant it by making this as her final album, since she got sick of recording music, then it is a shame to close it with such uneventful record.

As an M.I.A. stan since her beginning, it was a disappointment, especially since the demos are better than what actually made it

I actually just got the chance to meet MIA yesterday at her screening in NYC for her documentary. I have a strong feeling she's going to make more music, but other things too. She's been a filmmaker, painter, designer. Her documentary is briliant, lots of self-recorded footage of her entire life and before she even wanted to make music.mia_cinereach_posters_final_english.jpg?

OT: AIM was definitely a collection of songs that weren't as developed as they should've been, but even then there are moments that are brilliant. Not as good albums as predecessors, but strong ideas as usual IMO

Her weakest album. But not necessarily a 'bad' album. There are some highs, but more than a few lows.

Her worst in my opinion.

P.O.W.A. is an AIM reject, but it's still better than most of the AIM stuff. She probably didn't want to make it, since she said that Matangi is the end of her journey

I like dancin', and ponies....
