I said the ablum was coming out in 2013 I was just saying I don't expect the single in August or at the VMAs like most people though. Maybe she'll announce it at the VMAs video video broadcast? They sued Bravado though (just used Gaga's name for press) and the reporting around this suit has been dubiously researched at best. In the few bits of the actual suit that were directly quoted nothing was said about a delay because of her album release - they didn't even say "delay", just that Bravado made a "breach of contract". I don't really think we can conclude anything from this - I mean, according to the journalist who broke the news the Bratz makers complained they had been putting money in production and distribution and had given Bravado an advance of 1mill. But that's not how it works, it's the other way around - the commissioner/buyer does not request the production of a product AND get money for asking that item to be produced. Initially it had been aimed for the holiday season. It's plausible that the record was delayed into 2013 this past spring, and Gaga tried moving Bratz with it, but manufacturers balked.
