EDIT: On topic, I've always pondered about the next "crash" like the recession of '08 with the housing market to be Student Debt. Is that a possibility? Students own few of the assets in overall economy to cause a sudden crash I picture student debt being more like a drag on the economy that gets worse overtime as you get delayed household formation and delayed home purchases as new generation is forced to make these steps in life at a later age than previous generations Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Financial institutions, individual investors, mutual funds, even other Countries if they have a wealth fund Even pension funds often invest in Government debt.
