Gaga Monster 13,001 Posted March 21, 2018 Share Posted March 21, 2018 A suspect in a wave of bombing attacks in Austin killed himself inside his car with an explosive device early Wednesday as authorities closed in, police said. Since the bombings started on March 2, investigators frantically searched for clues, calling the attacks the work of a"serial bomber" who increasingly changed tactics. The bombings killed two people and left the Texas capital terrorized with fear for 19 days. In the most recent explosion before the suspect's death, a package exploded at a FedEx sorting center near San Antonio early Tuesday, and a second unexploded bomb was discovered on the same day at another FedEx facility near Austin. Those two packages are connected to four previous bombings that left two people dead. They only just found him and he blew himself up immediately after. It was suspected to be racially motivated at first because packages were left on the doorsteps of black households but now it’s unclear because he also used a trip wire for one, and was sending packages. But really, who knows what causes people to do such awful things like this? I am personally worried that he either wasn't alone or maybe there is/was a copy cat, since the bombs have been pretty different from each other.
