Pierre 10,480
Sudan was being treated for age-related complications that led to degenerative changes in muscles and bones combined with extensive skin wounds. His condition worsened significantly in the last 24 hours; he was unable to stand up and was suffering a great deal.T he veterinary team from the Dvůr Králové Zoo, Ol Pejeta and Kenya Wildlife Service made the decision to euthanize him. His genetic material was collected yesterday and provides a hope for future attempts at reproduction of northern white rhinos through advanced cellular technologies. Unfortunately, Sudan’s death leaves just two female northern white rhinos on the planet; his daughter Najin and her daughter Fatu, who remain at Ol Pejeta. The only hope for the preservation of this subspecies now lies in developing in vitro fertilisation (IVF) techniques using eggs from the two remaining females, stored northern white rhino semen from males and surrogate southern white rhino females. ❝Is not blue, not turquoise, not lapis. Humans do, because we treat endangered species like collector's items and we keep them alive for our entertainment. Reproducing them to keep them in confinement isn't exactly altruistic. she's a party girl with a bad habit for drugs

I had the honor meeting one this weekend. I bread French Bulldogs have for a long time, apparently they consider breeding bulldogs because of their health issues abuse...well none of my litters or dogs I have at home have had any health problems, were conceived naturally and born naturally as well, because I know what I'm doing and have regular check ups on their health. Also I make a temporary home for dogs from puppy mills and street before they can go to new homes, but just because it's bulldogs it's abuse because we help them live artificially when they are in bad conditions because of breeding...I could go on but I can imagine this being said about this IVF as well...
