ARTPOP Act 2 Question

What would y'all think if she released Act 2 now?? Would you even want it? Would it feel weird?

Obviously I know she legally can't.

I would live for it, ARTPOP is my fav album and the thought of ACT 2 blows my mind. I agree it isn't the music she's into rn and her career has changed a lot but I would love it

if she just casually uploaded it onto soundcloud and was like "here you go monsters, ik you wanted this for so long" that would be cool

but if she decided to give it a mini album campaign and tried to sell it, i would be a bit "....um... okay" about it

did you not hear Gaga say she has it and listens to it with friends

obvi not all of them are 100% but its enough for an EP at least

She didn’t say Act 2 directly. She said in general she had lots of songs from over the years that are great but she just prefers to jam out with friends to, and that she had no intention of ever releasing them. That it was a musical side to herself that she was able to have and not share with fans. 

I believe it was both Gaga and DJWS that stated that Act II was an “idea” that Gaga simply wanted to do at some point, not that all the songs had been recorded and finished.

Literally 1% of the songs would've actually been recorded or even had the lyrics/ instrumentals finished or even started

 

everyone talks about it like it's a finished album sitting on a USB stick when we should all know that's the furthest from the truth

but she at one point did intend on releasing it (even though she planned this before AP even came out ) and somewhere down the line she changed her mind and wanted to keep it to herself

maybe she was too scared/anxious/over it in general due to the ARTPOP backlash and so just decided it was easier to just keep what she has so far and let everything die down

She spoke of it alot backstage at Artrave meet and greets. She even told some fans she was planning on releasing it. At the one I attended which was a date close to the end of the tour, somebody asked her if she'll release it and she enthusiastically said "maybe" but that equated as a Gaga soon to me at the time she said it.

Wish Gaga would release ACT II like how Miley did with Dead Petz. An experimental album for the fans, online for free with 20 tracks. Maybe a special vinyl release.

tbh the lack of leaks this project has probably speaks volumes about how much was even finished

i really feel like if this was an album laying around on a hard drive somewhere (not literally), we would have heard way more by now

Gaga said at SXWS that second act of ARTPOP exist and she listens to it with her friends. It was 100% confirmed to be released on the App but it didn't take off as it was under Troy's management, it was more of his project. She just decided to move on from it. DJ Snake even confirmed he worked on "albums and albums" of music with Gaga and he was unhappy that his work wasn't all included on BTW/AP and that a lot of his work was rearranged without his knowledge.
