Dada & Boomkack were magic but I'm sure there are others out there with fresh ideas too. 5ft2 kind of showed that she is surrounded by Yes men. I wonder if her friends feel like they can give criticism or not, as she is also their boss. ryanripley 86,575 Posted March 1, 2018 Share Posted March 1, 2018 her graphic design team and social media team has been perfect, idk if they're new but they are so good at what they do (just look at her new website, it's beautiful) i'm kinda torn about it though because ruth is incredible and has made some amazing work with gaga... but somebody allowed MR music video to happen... idk if there was BTS drama but... anyways, i'm glad she's surrounded by friends who understand her illness and i think that has to be a priority. thankfully bobby is an amazing manager and saved her career musically... she really ought to work with more producers. DJWS makes bops but he's a safe option musicwise but messy in real life and RedOne has been on nearly all her albums i just wish she could one day make an album that's as interesting as Art Angels and return to the level of visuals she once had cus i'd be lying if i said i didn't miss when her work was AMAZING https://goo.gl/xMgMvJ Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
jxckk 959 Posted March 1, 2018 Share Posted March 1, 2018 She needs to brand out from Richie tbh, his choreography doesn't bother me that much but she really needs a new creative director. I don't think Richie can do all of those things. Creatively I wouldn't say hes strong when it comes to executing the tours. I feel like if she got Jamie King who's done it for many many years or Willo Perron who can execute a tour idea properly and work alongside Gaga to bring fresh ideas. If Richie strictly stuck to choreography and she brought in a new creative vision from the outside I think it would work so much better since she's heading back into pop territory with LG6 she needs those strong visuals again. Predictable honestly. Like, I love and appreciate what they did, but things always evolving in Gaga verse. Doot 2 Posted March 1, 2018 Share Posted March 1, 2018 I would say I’m torn on it. I think it’s probably great for her mental and physical health that she is surrounded by her friends. I think Bobby has done a good job in his role, ensuring she doesn’t get overworked. I do agree with many members here that her visuals are not really there as much anymore. There isn’t a single piece of choreography from this past album that I’ve bothered to learn, because nothing has stood out for me. And I know she picks a lot of the promo, but the schedules and the choices sometimes are Ive always felt that Gaga benefits from having people around who challenge her, and help her hone her vision. No more, no less. It is true. The issue is, these people just don’t give any chance to other albums with sounds and ideas far from it. They always demand the same old thing for over and over. And they wanted Gaga to have new team for this exact reason. Sounds like broken records at this point. I mean, I can’t personally speak for someone who thinks that, but I personally don’t see a lot of that on here, tbh. I feel like people get confused when they say they want that Gaga back. I feel like they are referring to the work ethic, the visuals/fashion and the quality that they were used to. I personally will listen to all of her albums, be a fan forever, and listen to everything with an open mind. But I do think there is a huge glaring issue if people have to force themselves to like new music simply to be able to call themselves fans.
