Did Rihanna ever have an ARTPOP? Personally, I feel that "Unapologetic" or "Rated R" could qualify as her AP. Both are some of her less popular albums and they have some hidden gems on them.

Quality wise Unapolegetic in the sense that it's a pretty weak album. Popularity/Success wise Rated R.

I didn't count her debut since it would be unfair :bon:

ANTI simply because it is basically the renaissance period of Rihanna's career. She wanted to explore more and delve into a more contemporary style. Success-wise it wasn't bad, in fact it was impressive for the digital age. However, her management was extremely messy at the time and Rihanna underperformed when it comes to tour sales and more. It didn't ruin her career considering the fact that she's been thriving from then on til now.

I'm not here for ARTPOP being used for referencing to an artist's flop era :triggered:

It was an amazing era that didn't get what it deserved because of poor managment :triggered:

Stop tarnishing this beautiful album thanks :triggered:

I don’t think she’s ever had an ARTPOP. Most of her albums have explicit material but they’ve never been as in your face with the aesthetics and references like ARTPOP was.

Also, her team seems to have a good sense of when to roll out singles and how to promote them well. (Come through S&M remix with Britney to get that #1 :selena:)

she's had it too good for too long :poot:

I think the exact opposite will happen. Anti was the album where people (even Forbes :selena:) were holding their breath for to see if it would do poorly. She proved them so wrong and now the public and most importantly, the Spotify listeners are in love with her like never before. I expect it to break a few records tbh.

I said NOTHING about ARTPOP being bad lol, it's my favorite Gaga album. But it didn't do too hot commercially and she didn't seem like herself during the era. That's the only reason why i used ARTPOP as a reference...no shade here

I thought the next one would be her fourth or fifth.

I cant really tell. I think ARTPOP is so unique in everyway. Or I dont have enough knowledge to compare:sis:

Call it a Witness for all I care but ARTPOP being used as the flop era reference is not fair considering all the **** backstage is responsible :neyde:

+ isn’t Joanne even less of a success lol

Anti her worst era?:triggered:

Call ARTPOP a flop-era when it was more successful when it comes to commercial performance than Joanne?:selena:

Her flop era hasn't come yet, it will be her next or the tenth album
