So: (Those I didn't mention are fine as is) 1. Nicki Minaj = 麻辣鸡 = pronunciation ma la ji (Minaj) which is why it's spicy chicken. 6. Lady Gaga = 康敏苏 = pronunciation kang min su (coming soon)/she's also called 女神卡卡 (Gaga the beauty/goddess -> instead of Gaga the Lady) in China 14. Lana Del Rey = 打雷 = pronunciation da lei (Del Rey) 22. Taylor Swift = also called 公交车 (public transit bus) because 谁都可以上她 = anyone can get in (her) 27. Demi Lovato = 呆米 = pronunciation dai mi (demi). But dai mi has nothing to do with rock princess 31. Ryan Gosling = 高司令 = pronunciation gao si ling (Gosling) which coincidentally happens to mean General "Gao".
