I think it's anyway not that big of a deal, I mean I've never heard about circumsised people who wish they weren't ... :oprah:

i have, there are methods to restore the foreskin too which i've seen online (pictures and all), not all men are okay with being cut

@Melech

Here's the first article that popped up : https://www.webmd.com/sexual-conditions/guide/circumcision

I quote :

" The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) found that the health benefits of newborn male circumcision outweigh the risks"

"Benefits :

There is some evidence that circumcision has health benefits, including:

- A decreased risk of urinary tract infections.

- A reduced risk of some sexually transmitted diseases in men.

- Protection against penile cancer and a reduced risk of cervical cancer in female sex partners.

- Prevention of balanitis (inflammation of the glans) and balanoposthitis (inflammation of the glans and foreskin).

- Prevention of phimosis (the inability to retract the foreskin) and paraphimosis (the inability to return the foreskin to its original location).

- Circumcision also makes it easier to keep the end of the penis clean.

Note: Some studies show that good hygiene can help prevent certain problems with the penis, including infections and swelling, even if the penis is not circumcised. In addition, using a condom during sex will help prevent STDs and other infections.

Risks :

Like any surgical procedure, there are risks associated with circumcision. However, this risk is low. Problems associated with circumcision include:

- Pain  (which is non existing for babies as they don't even realize)

- Risk of bleeding and infection at the site of the circumcision

- Irritation of the glans

- Increased risk of meatitis (inflammation of the opening of the penis)

- Risk of injury to the penis

Why would nature make something that is not useful to your health and body? And those "religious" people, if god made you to be perfect, then why is there any need to cut something off? Wouldn't that mean, that god constructed imperfect beings, and thus he would also be imperfect? :ladyhaha:

1) Yeah, but what I'm saying is that they shouldn't get it at all.

2) It's not better for one's health. It avoids the possibility of other health factors but you could say that about anything. With your logic, that means we should actually chop off every woman's breasts and fill them with silicon to decrease the chances of them developing breast cancer. Does that sound moral to you? No. That's exactly what circumcision means in a medical context. It's completely unnecessary, especially when considering the fact that at one point in time every man was uncircumcised and did fine. It's weird how the west frowns upon African tribes who mutilate the vaginas of women but still continue to mutilate the genitals of young boys. We are no different.

plus it's really not that hard to wash your d*ck :air:

just 2 minutes of your time and water :air:

I think you're going a little too far here

There's a difference between mutilating parts and circumcision as boys still have their parts and most people find it more arrtrictive/healthier. + never heard of anyone complain about getting circumised at birth

You cannot compare that to women who are violently assaulted to take away their vaginas against their will and that take away a part of them (circumsised boys still have all their parts...)

I'm not a huge circumision supporter, it just happens that my dad is a urologist surgeon and that I hear about that all day and that it is mostly brings benefits for your health so I don't think it's that huge of a deal (mostly bc no one complains about it)

Of course I'm opposed to any kind of barbaric/painful/non-professional circumsition which is dangerous and unfair to the guy who is victim of that

Sizzily

Cut is way better but it just seems like a ridiculous thing to do to a baby. And lol at a ban inspiring antisemitism and Islamophobia. As if no one else does it.

Inside my head I have the best time

River

I'm against it and I want my skin back :grr:

I really have a psychological issue with this, I feel that something is missing in my body and not only that, the circumcision caused a problem to my penis, like the hole is shorter than it should be, so I need to do a surgery to make it a bit bigger.. in the meantime it just hurts most of the times..

And not only this, my biggest issue and anger is that my parents didn't want to circumcise me, but the grandparents wanted so they went to the high court with the request to order on my parents to do it.. now it was 1988.. religion was stronger in Israel.. so my grandparents won..  when I discovered it, I cut the connection with those monsters.. they are still alive for some reason..:awkney:

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

Then you're the first one I ever heard who feel that way (and I know plenty of people who are)

I respect your feelings

But, without being too curious, why exactly ? Like why do you wish you weren't ?

If doctors are going to mutilate babies can they at least remove their appendix. Now that's a useful procedure worth looking into.
