i've read so many sources for this and there's just as many arguments for and against circumcision however a baby should NOT be modified just for the sake of religious purposes

if a man is that desperate for one, he should be old enough to make that conscious no matter how much it hurts, the point is it's their own personal choice. if a trained professional feels a baby will benefit from it because of medical reasons then they're the only voice parents should listen to, not traditions

Yeah, but that's not really a source. There are more countries where the majority is uncut and I'm sure those doctors say something different

I think it's anyway not that big of a deal, I mean I've never heard about circumsised people who wish they weren't ...

1) Yeah, but what I'm saying is that they shouldn't get it at all.

2) It's not better for one's health. It avoids the possibility of other health factors but you could say that about anything. With your logic, that means we should actually chop off every woman's breasts and fill them with silicon to decrease the chances of them developing breast cancer. Does that sound moral to you? No. That's exactly what circumcision means in a medical context. It's completely unnecessary, especially when considering the fact that at one point in time every man was uncircumcised and did fine. It's weird how the west frowns upon African tribes who mutilate the vaginas of women but still continue to mutilate the genitals of young boys. We are no different.
