I think it's interesting how there's been a shift in the ;last few years from rappers to singers. 

 

When you think about it, the only solo male rappers left doing big things is Drake and Kendrick. Yes there's been one hit wonders (Future, French Montana, Logic etc), but not major acts. Lil Wayne's career is in a casket. Eminem's new album FLOPPED. Kanye hasn't had a hit in ages. Jay Z does okay, no hits though and isn't at the level of Drake and Kendrick.
