Blinky38 20 Posted July 31, 2012 Share Posted July 31, 2012 I really wish these were better edited :/ Its like whoever edited the state/city names into the songs did so in like 4 minutes and didn't even bother to listen to it after they were done. And its not like it would be very hard! She sounds the same whether she's singing Houston, Nebraska or Detroit. I wish I could get my hands on the acapellas of the state versions so I could at least make Texas and Houston sound better. For most of these, the new state names sorta just pop in, they don't flow as well as the original; in some parts it even cuts off part of her singing the next line of the song! GAahh, its just so frustrating because I know most of the members here on GGD could probably edit them better but no one's ever gonna get the chance to. Oh and I HATE the radio edit of You and I, it makes absolutely zero sense to me musically; which is probably another reason I don't like how the State versions were edited, because most of them are the awful radio edits, which just make the song sound even choppier.
