I love Joanne but only cause it’s full of bops. Otherwise I didn’t feel a connection to it. It’s not reletable, its concept is not even a concept. It’s basic and we didn’t expect it from Gaga, but i still managed to enjoy it.

ARTPOP teas.

In 4 years everyone will suddenly love Joanne era and miss it.

Pretty sure not many people miss the ARTPOP era even though it was a lot more exciting than the Joanne one.

I didn’t connect to it which is so weird since it’s her personal album it just seemed dull and boring and a country wannabe I feel like mark ronson took her to a lame direction for the album instead of the original lg5  I love her other albums ARTPOP being my most favorite I connected to it more the rage and passion in it  although I did go to the Joanne tour I didn’t reallt enjoyed it like I did with previous tours it just seemed boring and sloppy planned the outfits and wigs weren’t cutting it for me the whole era was a mess tbh the cowgirl wannabe get up wasn’t cutting it for me I needed wigs and 10 inch heels and what not but I must say the good things were Super Bowl and the Coachella setlist 🙌🏼

Her "look at me I'm so normal and aproachable and just like everyone else I even wear jeans omg!" attitude was getting on my nerves a lot :saladga: Like ok... good for you I guess?

Also, the music itself is good but I connected more to idk, Marry the Night or even Heavy Metal Lover than the so-called personal era/album that was Joanne. It lacks concept and is kinda try-hard. She didn't even know the person for god's sake.

Spoiler

And no, I don't really buy that "it made my father angry" bs tbh. 'Cause again... what now? It sounds extremely empty.

Too many people here with moral superiority complex.

not really, what really happen is that each era monsters leave the fandom for dissapointed, rn it seems theres a lot of ARTPOP fans because most of the fans borned during previous eras are already done with her, ive seen it with some friends of mine, and u can tell how this fandom gets smaller and smaller each era, her videos gets less views everty time, firts week sales too, etc...

I thought I liked it, but I realized it was just me wanting to like it. It was sort of the nail in the coffin for her progressively declining music

Theres no trace of what made me love Gaga in the first place, besides the vocal talent. She really did peak with The Fame Monster and it kills me to say that.

She could release another album that completely changes my mind, but I really don’t see that happening, especially if the LG6 album/era really is just the country inspired, reportedly disastrous, “A Star is Born” soundtrack.

There have been so many artists that have impressed me and entertained me far more than Gaga has in years.

I used to be a hardcore little monster, now I’m just uninterested.

Plus with this album, the tour, the music videos, The Cure, the interviews, etc. she’s become the absolute definition of gerneric, something I never thought I’d say about her.
