Bloodyjack 794
So over the passed few months what with the Jwt cancellation and everything. I've just really been missing the BTW era I don't even know why because it wasn't even my favourite album or tour but I've just been drowning in nostalgia everything just felt so much more fun and light-hearted back then and the little monsters felt like an army ready to invade with Thier cheap leather and LGBTQ flags whereas nowadays with the artflop saga and the fibromyalgia meltdown everything just feels so much more divisive and intense and I just feel (not being dramatic) depressed 🤔 I feel like it was such a great era for everyone involved and to think I didn't even get to experience it to the fullest. You can read about my btwb debacle in my other posts and I also missed out on her other UK performances. So right now I'm just listening to schiesse and looking at my homemade leather and just feeling nostalgic. I would literally give anything to go back to that era and live it out to the fullest and it's starting to get to me😢 Sorry I know this comes across like a weird creepy rambling but I just had to get this off my chest and see if others felt the same
Andrew Warhola 12,992
I sometimes wonder if there's a parallel universe out there, where Gaga doesn't exist and the Born This Way era didn't shape me into the homosexual that I am today she's a party girl with a bad habit for drugs

Guest
I know the feeling. I was 17 when the BTW era kicked off. I was in my final year of high school, feeling incredibly lost, insecure with my sexuality and I had no idea what to do with my life after school. As I grew and matured over the next 3 years I became a confident young adult and I started out on my own path in the world. Pushed myself to go far beyond my comfort zone, I came out, met my first boyfriend who I ended up staying with for 3 years and met so many like-minded people at university who I am still friends with to this day. I always found myself going back to listen to BTW during this phase of my life, so this album is very special to me and it fills me with such nostalgia each time I listen to it now. I don't think I will ever find an album that resonates with me as much as this one does, But I'm just glad I got to have the experience
