panosmonster 1,466 Posted February 10, 2018 Share Posted February 10, 2018 Kim Cattrall is done hearing from Sarah Jessica Parker. “My Mom asked me today ‘When will that @sarahjessicaparker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?'” Cattrall wrote on Instagram on Saturday morning. “Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now.” The former “Sex and the City” star whose brother was found dead last week made it clear to SJP that her condolences aren’t welcome in the post that read: “I don’t need your love or support at this tragic time @sarahjessicaparker.” Tales of the former co-stars’ apparent rocky relationship have resurfaced as Cattrall announced that she has no interest in starring in a third installment of the series’ movies and further said that Parker and her “were never friends.” Still, Parker, “heartbroken” by Cattrall’s statement, responded to her social media announcement of the loss of her brother who was found dead over the weekend. “Dearest Kim, my love and condolences to you and yours and Godspeed to your beloved brother,” Parker commented. But in Cattrall’s latest post, she accused Parker of selfishly trying to protect her own image. “Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven’t already) You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona.” To end her angry message, Cattrall left a link to a New York Post story titled: “Inside the mean-girls culture that destroyed ‘Sex and the City’.” A rep for Parker did not immediately return our request for comment. SJP reaching out to her and wanting to support her despite their previous "feuds" yet that is how Kim responses? She should grief and focus on her family. I used to be team all 4 of them. She tragically and suddenly lost her brother and I can only imagine her emotions are heightened and perhaps she’s misdirected some of the emotions toward SJP. Clearly the two had a strained relationship and I thought it was inappropriate for SJP to publicly say SC3 wasn’t happening because of Kim. She thinks SJP could have been nicer? Well discuss it with her, not with talk show hosts. You're not accepting someones condolences? Tell them privately, not publicly. This is - like - really really weird and petty... Neither is it anybody elses feud, anybody else's business, nor is it of public interest. The last thing you need at a time of tragedy is someone being, what you perceive to be, fake towards you. I’m a long time fan of the show and it was never a secret that they hated one another. Co stars arent required to be best friends, however this stuff should be dealt with privately as it tarnishes the integrity of the work that was created. I don't really understand their beef but I like them both--perhaps Kim's body of work moreso. Everyone knows they had problems and they are not friends etc. and SJP giving condolences is just SOOOO fake. She just want to be seen that cute little short girl..
