We should wait until the "all platforms" results come in though. I didn't watch it on TV either.

It's interesting to compare the context of some previous ones though.

 I find it interesting that the Superbowl can elevate an artist, or do the opposite. Bey, Bruno, and Gaga obviously increased their status/power/standing due to it. Katy did the opposite. Someone like Madonna would have no effect because she is already a legend and her standing is cemented.

Katy Perry did it following a huge era. Her numbers perhaps reflect that. Bruno did it when he was just a regular successful artist, still fairly new. His numbers would be a lot different if he did it today. Bey and Gaga did it following underwhelming eras.

So would Witness have done better if Katy had decided to do the show within the era?
