Were the halftime stats specifically recorded back then? Apparently, the 2010 show that Elton John headlined had 106 million for the entire show, which was the highest rated show at the time and I can't find the BEP stats from 2011. So, does this mean that JT's ratings were the lowest in at least 7 years, possibly 8? This is bad news for him. When he was on top of the world over a decade ago with Sexyback, no one could have imagined that a JT SB show would pull in some of the lowest viewing figures in recent history. SB viewership has been rising every year with the mildest of dips (Coldplay were less than Katy, but Gaga was more than Coldplay, but less than Katy). This kinda makes me realise why they've been booking so many women lately - they seem to be the most lucrative when it comes to getting views. The Grammys need to take note and award them.
