scallywally 626
It was bound to happen. Did anybody also read the lack of tourism, hotel bookings and flights going into the U.S? The GOP speak non stop about new jobs, not lost jobs. The dollar is falling drastically and all they can talk about is new jobs and black people working and get the dreamers out when unemployment is only at 4%. Errm. Its not economical. its 5 year olds writing blank cheques without thoughts on non straight people, non white people, only rich people and no caring for the environment or other countries that dont re-fill their bank accounts. That doesnt work. It takes this planet to have a balance for it to turn. They've got their dollars sorted, wait for the mess when the dollar drops even more and nobody in the US can afford imported goods and everyone else can buy US things for half price. Quite simple really. Trump has had how many bankruptcies?? And people put him in power to run everyones bank accounts, savings, safety, lives, healthcare??? I wouldnt trust him with my piggy bank. With the lies I wouldnt trust him to look after my gerbil if he said 'ill feed him, hell have the best food hes ever had' Id come back and the gerbil would be dead. Consumer debt in US is still much lower than before, companies have fixed balance sheets, rising demand finally might make companies invest more instead of waiting, housing is in tight supply and construction could rise further, oil states are still in a shale boom and now to add to that you have tax cuts So the real economy has a lot going for it so a wall street under-performance shouldn't trigger a recession right now at least not a bad one. It's hard to say for sure tho Recessions almost always cause stock market pullbacks or even crashes because they lower confidence and Corporate Earnings... But on the other hand if it's the stock market that crashes first a recession only happens sometimes because the real economy doesn't depend on wallstreet as much as wallstreet depends on the real economy!
