Azealia Banks on Lorde: She wasn’t snubbed, I hated Melodrama

You guys need to learn that just because you don’t like an album doesn’t mean it’s bad 

I really don’t like Kylie Minogue’s music at all - I can’t get into it. But I still understand it’s great pop music

Banks, for once, has simply targeted another artist's art and she's entitled to her opionion as long as she's not insulting the person behind it, which I don't feel she did this time. There's no need to insult her just because you're salty and can't deny her talent 

She still needs a new pair of ears, though, as many of you do. Having pulled out a critically acclaimed, intimate and honest album doesn't mean overrated or boring just because it doesn't shock, throw shades at other people in the industry or has sick-assed beats attached to it. 

Good news is, if Melodrama was a boring album, y'all still can go back to Lemonade, ANTi and reputation. I'm sure you'll find 'em more entertaining.

Cant u just let miss banks say what she wants in peace? She didnt say anything controversial or rude. She commented something that I can imagine ANYONE on this website or twitter would say. Its not a big deal. Yall choose when u want to put her in the headlines and it's always for dumb negative things that honestly dont even deserve to be spoken about. Lets talk about how she starred in her first ever film as the lead called Love Beats Rhymes and that Fantasea 2 is out in March. Lets talk about that instead.

Even tho i only and rarely listen to anything besides taylor and ariana, i did give Melodrama a listen and instantly downloaded 90% of the tracks of that album. IT WAS PURE HEAVEN. THE LYRICS, THE BEAT, THE SONGS WE'RE AMAZING. 

I wished it had REP's success in sales tbh it deserves it. Also deserves the Grammy she was R O B B E D of. 

Homemade Dynamite and Sober we;re my favorite tracks along with Supercut, The Louvre, and Green Light. 

Azealia can **** off.

Honestly every time I see this Azealea Bankrupts it's because of other artists

It´s the first time ,that i totally agree with her.

I mean ,i streamed her album two times,and i really tried not to sleep.

One of the most  uninspired albums i´ve ever heard.

The critics loved it? Who cares? 

I never buy music because the critics or media dictate me to do so.

I think the point is that we really don't need to comment on these types of things. You didn't buy the album and aren't interested in it - great. But your opinion doesn't really do much. I don't understand why artists who have somewhat of a following feel the need to express negative opinions on things. Praise what you want and just ignore the others. I guess that's what I'm trying to do.... just not comment on things I don't like.

Some people love the album and some people don't.
