Her first feminist statement. SO fresh, cool and energetic in 1983 and now. :legend:

Are we still going to make our avi's Erotica related for the 20th anniversary in October? :hor:

I listened to Erotica while doing my homework.

I got about 20% of my chapter done.

80% was done to Electra Heart.

That album kept me so off task. I kept s-xy dancing.

La Rosalia

I'm pissed that she made videos for the weakest songs. I wanted videos for Gang Bang, I'm Addicted and Love Spent :crossed:

Gang Bang would've flopped.

Everything would have flopped. I only wanted videos I don't care about her singles tbh.

That song sucks though. It's not nearly as innovative as it thinks its being.

I'm Addicted was good though and Love Spent of course.

Yep. It remains her first, though not best, feminist statement.

Madonna really broke through with "Holiday" and "Borderline". It's funny, neither were huge hits @ the time but became among her most iconic, memorable songs.

Esp. "Holiday" which if I'm not mistaken still gets the most annual airplay.

She might not be done making MDNA videos yet...

Guest theFuture

"Playing the Olympia was a magical moment for me and it was real treat to do this special show for my fans and be so close to them. Unfortunately at the end of the show - after I left the stage - a few thugs who were not my fans rushed the stage and started throwing plastic bottles pretending to be angry fans. The press reports have focused on this and not the joyous aspect of the evening. But nothing can take away or ruin this very special evening for me and my fans. When I looked out in the audience, everyone I saw had a smile on their face. I look forward to having this wonderful experience again."

-Madonna.

Well said, Madonna.

This is just idiotic. Madonna makes herself look like an absolutely ignorant and uninterested fool here. But I don't blame her. It's the lovely Guy Oseary who - once again - kept her away from the press, the reason for the fans' reactions and his own mistakes. I doubt she knew she was performing a show that was part of the MDNA Tour.
