GlitterGrease 53
Keeping Turn Up The Radio and Birthday song over Vogue , Human Nature and Gang Bang ? I am so sick of Human Nature live. The only performance of that song I like is the DWT one
ALX 170
Isn't that rumored setlist from the intimate performance? It doesn't have to be the same as the tour
Jenniferella 2,774
I hope it's bull****. Except for the addition of "Love Spent," this is a major downgrade. Where are "Vogue," "I'm Addicted," "Express Yourself," and "Erotic Candy Shop?" Those are some of my most anticipated performances --- she better not be thinking of cutting them out on the next leg of the tour or some nonsense like that! EDIT: Just noticed that "Gang Bang" is gone too. Definitely bull****! Nope, this may be true, a lot of those songs can be sung acoustic, it fits with the Love Spent guitar rehearsal that happenned somewhere during the MDNA Tour, I would die if she did something like the showcase she did in Paris during the American Life promo tour... Chucky 39
I don't get the hate for MDNA. It's not her best, but still some fun music and beautiful ballads. Falling free and masterpiece r just gorgeous. Most fun is GGW, SG, IA, GMAYL. I love the album, just wish it didn't feel so generic. I can't help it. I think I've realized what's bothering me. I became a hardcore fan with Madonna from ROL onward. The use of s-x wasn't the goal, it was the art and lyrics. That's what appealed to Mr most with Madonna. Even COADF, its prime focus wasnt s-xy image based, sure, she was scantily clad but it was for the sake of reviving disco queen eras, it was still very much creative and artistic to me. It's been since hard candy and MDNA that I've seen more focus on image and being s-xy and less focused on the art. Or maybe the s-xiness overshadows that for me? Anyway, I'm enjoying what I can. I just miss artsy Madonna, it was always the art, creative Passion that always had my interest, not really the appearances except maybe when I was five and saw material girl and fell om love with the first blonde I remember. Madonna. :Gaga: Edited July 19, 2012 by justmikey
HausOfHarlow 378
I wish she performed Some Girls + Superstar + Love Spent + Beautiful Killer live. ****, if she wanted to, she could completely lip-sync Some Girls (just because its so electronically distorted).. But I really think Beautiful Killer would fit well directly after Gang Bang in the setlist, then Some Girls after or before GMAYL, and Love Spent before Masterpiece! Haus of Dance 2
I'd love Madonna to do a world tour in the same essence cozy and intimate wise like the fame ball. Could u imagine seeing Madonna at a venue club like setting where the most seats would be 2000 people? :Gaga: Especially 30 years into her amazing career? Can u imagine the ticket prices? 700 dollars the cheapest tickets I'd totally go though, no matter how expensive.

I think we should all tweet Madonna, we got the formula for the better money maker. :Gaga:

The whole first act of the tour is basically a tribute to assault weapons so much for kabbalah Edited July 19, 2012 by GlitterGrease

Cesky 0
The show is about a journey from dark to light. Thus, the violence at the beginning. That's the wonderful thing about art, doing something isn't advocating it. Does 1984 advocate totalitarianism because it describes a totalitarian state? I always thought it was just the year Madonna released like a virgin. I've heard of it though. Good point. :Gaga: Edited July 19, 2012 by justmikey
Famey 2
So happy you are back! only occasionally these days, but I can't stay away from this thread for too long!
Cesky 0
Probably a better is example is what does every anti war film have a lot of? Violence and war! And the MDNA really has a great narrative to those who say her artistry is dead. The arch of it all is incredible theater. While I enjoyed the Re-invention tour, I really couldn't tell you what any of the acts had to do with each other, but with this tour its different.
