MOTHERFUCKER 0
Of/c I'm superfluent when I say "everyone", I just mean people are definitely talking. There are 1000s of comments on all articles about these controversies. But, hasn't she? She undresses in Turkey, a largely Muslim country. I feel like it speaks for itself. Plus the song is "Human Nature" with lyrics: "Would it be better if I were a man? You're the one with the problem. Deal with it." I think the message is very clear. She's doing as she's always done even though people expect her to change as she ages. That is the simplest way to fire back at ageism. Thank god for people like you. MOTHERFUCKER 0
MADONNA Swastika BACKLASH Fueled Paris Riot That riot at a Madonna concert in Paris had nothing to do with her brief performance -- it was payback for Madge's repeated use of a video featuring a swastika on a French politician ... this according to fans at the show and sources connected to the venue. TMZ spoke with several people who were in the crowd Thursday night (and have been to several of Madonna's recent concerts). They say there were 10 or so "fans" in the audience who started the ruckus ... and those people were overheard yelling about Marine Le Pen. We're told several members of this group we're holding up signs they'd brought to show support for Le Pen. Madonna has been at odds with Le Pen ever since she started projecting the right-wing leader's face -- with a swastika over it -- during this tour. http://www.tmz.com/2012/07/29/madonna-france-concert-riot/

Nemo 4,207
In the past month: Marine Le Pen is suing her. ... Russia's threatening to arrest her. These are badges of honor. YouTube banned her video. Eh? I missed that. Her school in Malawi flopped. From what I read, she's just redirecting the money from one "elite academy" to multiple regular schools. Which sounds like an improvement. MOTHERFUCKER 0
Yeah the malawi projects are a huge success, I think they already built like three schools already, its just one school that was mishandled. the school's principal/director was taking all the money.. and having big parties and spending it on golf courses along with the boyfriend of the trainer of lady gaga .. :o just saying. and the school's director is the sister of the president of malawi today.. :s something to think about. there's a lot of corruption. SoldierDown 49
I hope now that she's made a couple of 'fun' albums she'll release another in 2014 or something which is more serious and considered. It's not like she'd want to repeat the 'sound' of MDNA again anyway, so hopefully she goes in a very different direction. And I just want her to work with better more innovative producers tbh. MattyMonster 3
So, I'm at the stadium (and I think I hear this b---h rehearsing :)), but I'm a little confused cause I have a normal standing ticket and the standing line says: Golden Circle at te beginning. Should I stay here, so when they let them in, I will be first in line for the normal entrance? I hope I'm making sense Please someone answer me, I never go to concerts, so I don't know how it goes :ohno:
PopBitch 1,218
Retire? She has a Livenation deal. I think she has two albums left and two tours left. The caliber of her tour show proves to me Madonna still has it. Album sales steadily decline for older artists? That alone is no reason to retire. U2 and Springsteen and Paul McCartney, Bon Jovi, all their sales are lower, but I think it's great they are still creating new music. Madonna still sells in the millions. Now, her lack of commitment to this album and doing some of it half-assed or trying to jump on some bandwagon for the youth market and missing the boat I get and it's a disappointment. Some of her weak, immature lyrics are also disappointing. I think Madonna needs to just put out a quality album with quality lyrics, melodies and vocals. It doesn't have to be innovative. If she focuses on that and brings back in Orbit, lyricists like Pat Leonard, whom she has co-written great songs with, and stops trying to sound like autotuned helium Madonna for songs or flatliner odd vocals like Girl Gone Wild and sings like she does on Take a Bow, Power of Goodbye,Substitute for Love Gone, Intervention, I think everybody will be happy. I will. Listening to her sing Masterpiece and Like a Prayer live shows she can still sing with emotion and sounds like Madonna compared to some of the weirdly processed vocals who could be anybody on MDNA. ticktock 0
You mean aside from the fact that she's autotuned to death or the fact that the song consists of such "classic" lyrics as "Some girls got an attitude, fake tits and a nasty mood" delivered in a monotone? Or how about the BRILLIANT chorus "Some girls are not like me" delivered in a voice that is unrecognizable and nails-on-a-chalkboard grating? So by being explicit, that makes daring and introspective? If I wrote a song about an ex-lover saying "I did everything for you, you ****ed me over, I don't need you"....that's all it takes to make a good song? I'm in the wrong business then. ^^ Lol this. I like the song but the chorus lyrics... "Some girls are not like me, I never wanna be like some girls." Some girls?? SOME girls? To me the song would make WAY more sense if she sang "OTHER girls", kind of like a She's Not Me part II.

I love u and I would love this. I want my madonna back, the one I got huge chills and goosebumps from..I need it. Surely she's not done caring about the music, vocals, writing, staying ahead of times. :( I need u back Madonna. And I get labelled as a hater and such when its obvious I love and adore the hell outta her. I just expect alot from someone of her level and when I say that I get the same old "well she is 53" and I'M ageist because I want something more deep from her and less than teen? If anything, I believe she still has it, she's just holding back and keeping guy o , telling her her every move is right when its so not. She's horribly managed the way I see it. :nacho: Edited July 29, 2012 by justmikey
