I dont know about you guys but this was perfect

I think it wasn't really rounded up... a little random if you ask me.

I was loving it, I thought the opening worked alright for a theatre show and it was all just going pretty awesome.

I just think it finished too soon. If she'd have just done another handful of songs it would have been fine. I just feel sorry for those fans who spent a fortune and slept on the streets for such a short show...

EDIT: Haha, that was my 1000th post!

I agree. The opening was lackluster and so was the finish. It could have worked in the context of a larger performance, but she should have knocked people dead with this

Did anyone record the audio from that performance? I'm really hoping to get Candy Shop/Erotica... so glad she sang it today!

Also allow me to quote myself - and Mikey you'll love this. The Fame Ball had a much better opening video and short performances than this. By far. Madonna should be able to do something at least to that level (aside from vocals).

People went nuts after the show finished. In a bad way.

This is from a fan who attended the show:

it was short but good

the ground was shaking so much during turn up the radio that the cameras were all moving up and down too - maybe that's why they didn't stream it?

a lot of talking between open your heart and masterpiece

vogue and candy shop very nice in this small venue

at the end of human nature she dropped her pants completely and beautiful killer started - crowd pleaser!!!

but the je t'aime moi non plus thing was kinda meh and a bad low energy finale

then the lights went on and EVERYBODY just started booing and shouting "refund!! refund!!"

outside fans were yelling/crying/hysterically talking to radio interviewers how disappointed they were

oh, well

like i said, short but good

Why does she do **** like this when she's only gonna get bad press for it?

The point of these should be to get good press for the tour. All we're gonna hear about is how disappointed people are. Another mis-managed (I'm talking to you Guy Oseary) event during the MDNA era.

There is no reason Madonna can't do a full-length show in a theater.

I think it's pretty impertinent that the show got advertised as an additional date of the MDNA Tour on her website. Once all tickets were sold out, they suddenly spoke of an exclusive and intimate club performance.

It's kind of unfair to have fans tap into such a trap when they pay even more money than for the usual concert tickets to see the stadium production.

I am sure she has nothing to do with it personally, because in the end of the day she has better things to do than having an eye on what is posted on her website, but this is a total disaster in terms of organization and management. It makes LiveNation look bad.

And sadly, all of this falls back on Madonna.

This is what "happy" fans look like:

This concert would have been regarded so much more highly if it took place BEFORE the MDNA Tour started, much like the Radio 1 and Roseland performance did... if this was a promo tour after MDNA was released, then it would have had a lot better reception. I can't stand it when a performer doesn't tell the crowd goodnight or thank you after they are done.

That's the point. It was a wonderful promo gig. Bigger and better than ever before. Unfortunately months too late. Leaving thousands of fans disappointed, mad and crying.
