Something about Grammys performance

It's just my opinion but after watching for the next time her performance I think "Joanne" wasn't really planned in the set before last week's announcement and single release.

The introduction speech was kinda weird like she didn't plan it before and whole minute of Joanne sounded kinda nervous and unrehearsed enough.

I think Million Reasons was the only choice from the beginning and even the Grammys announced on their site that Gaga is going to perfrom A SONG off the album Joanne.

I have a feeling that they added it after Gaga decided to release the new version and music video but firstly they wanted to do Million Reasons with the violins etc.

Unrehearsed enough? she sings it like every night at JWT. But I feel the performance was kinda rushed like she wasn't given enough time

Maybe that explains why she seem "not very happy"

yeah that's true. but Gaga was tired. She left Europe to go there and now she has to go back to Europe again.... I don't blame her she was gorgeous. I think it was really moving cause you could see that she was almost crying while singing

I'm still trying to convince myself that it was just my speakers fvcking up when some of her notes were off. :selena:

She looked emotional to me not unrehearsed. Maybe she was running high on emotions it was visible. Nevertheless slayed. Made me emotional with her

It was still quite a performance but I guess without those "off-notes" and the overall demeanor it woulnd't be as emotional to me. My heart was shaking like is this girl even okay when she was performing ? Poor thing must be so tired.

I think she was emotional. And yeah MR sounded MUCH better. At least her voice was great most of the time, unlike other pop star who also took the stage to sing her nominated song :awkney:

I do LOVE the performance honestly, I was trying to state what I stated in order to support the op's opinion saying she probably added Joanne to the performance not long ago

I actually prefer performances with so-called "flaws" than the ones which are over-practised,

the emotions are always so gone when there were repetitive practices before the actual performance
