That could have been about someone completely different tbh

While Gaga was in the room/photo? Don't think it's that reckless.

After the Superbowl and the Vegas announcement I really do feel that they’re next move is turning her into a legacy act. Like Britney has. I wouldn’t expect relevant new material from her for a while.

Yeah...I just honestly don't think another country tinged soundtrack promo single is gonna be big on Ryan Seacrest, Elvis Duran, and Z100's eyes when we are in the year of Cardi.:trollga: Just saying.

I was at the recording for the film in NY. Ain't nothing country tinged about the song she did. It was straight up RnB/Pop

Well, if the Quavo thing doesn't get resolved, the "Year of Cardi" may be cancelled.:icega:

I see where your coming from but what about ASIB and new singles and #2018radioisours

I feel like she may have been reflecting on her career, may have been reflecting on her career, maybe she wants to be Stefani now but This isn't the end for Gaga and I doubt she will have a break. I feel like she was just saying goodbye to Joanne for a final time.

Promotion and radio deals are still vital to the success of future singles. She needs to do the job and ensure that her singles are as successful as possible.

But I do agree with most of your post. She's got nothing left to prove but that doesn't mean she doesn't need to care about the charts no more. I think to win a Grammy it's essential to be successful commercially (as Despacito and Shape of You have proven). It's good to be nominated and we're extremely lucky but to win, you need something else, you need cultural impact, and that comes from popularity.

I’m annoyed at how Gaga could have waved off the Joanne era with a Grammy win to couple with that amazing performance but instead lost to that mediocre HOBBIT

she will never quit music, ever. she has said that music is with her the whole time. she always creates music. she will decide what comes up next but it might be true that she will take a break from "commercial" music a year and focus on asib. its what makes sense. im sure her next release will be her peak of her career. but as you said yourself, she does not need to prove anything anymore. she is lady GAGA.

this honestly hurts to hear

some opinions are unacceptable to say

:(

Gaga is above and beyond them

Gaga is a Bowie, who writes for art and for music - not for commercial success nor the grammys

Gaga is done with music for a while and has perhaps even accepted that she never is meant to have the Madonna/Britney level success..

lmao..."britney level success"...

yeah, she already had that. Album sales declined from 1999-2009, so of course sales arent the same but with inflation they're absolutely comparable. Gaga's fame was otherwordly from 2009-2011, same as britney at her peak.

literally what is this OP?

her plans for the year do not depend on if she won a grammy or not

she said herself she didn't expect to win

she's not going to take time off just because she lost lol
