They predicted Gaga getting nominated for Million Reasons but that didn't happen as well. Kesha has made a strong comeback, everyone speaks pretty highly of her performance, and it's kinda obvious she's getting a Grammy. At least one of them. Ed, I don't know. The fact he wasn't invited to perform has me thinking, but the GP loves him and I fear he'll steal the Grammy from Joanne. Ed would be so predictable that I feel like it would just elicit a shrug from me at this point. Bleh. Any of the others would be a big WTF moment. Especially if Coldplay wins for that forgettable, phoned in EP. I think of it like this: her being there is basically like a nominated actress that's won best actress before showing up to the Oscars. I love Joanne, but I really want Gaga to continue stretching herself and I feel like she’s still got a proper opus left in her. I feel like maybe if she gets an award for ok work, she’ll stop pushing the boundaries so much. She needs to keep reaching for acclaim, otherwise she’ll settle.
