Migos "Culture II" To Sell 30/40K, but SPS 180/200K

I'm sorry but this makes me so angry and, as a chart freak, think that Billboard is destroying the industry with streaming 

 

For an album to only sell 30K to 40Km but have 180K to 200K in SPS, making it #1, is ridiculous

This just means millions of prepubescent boys are looping their songs just to look cool, doesn't mean much. A pure sale for me shows that a music-lover is really investing in the artist's work; that's what really counts.

and also they have 24 songs on the album and each song counts toward streaming units. This makes the album gain more streams cuz i believe 10 song streams or something like that equals one streaming unit.

Exactly. They find loopholes to get the illusion of success. Now we shall see how many of those streamers actually show up to their show. 

It really isnt fait that an album with fewer tracks is disadvantaged in that way because usually the best albums have 10-12 tracks that work well together as a unit.

Streaming only makes sense with individual songs. Unless there's a way to track an entire album stream (from track 1 till the final track) from the same user, then including streaming in album charts is stupid.
