The biggest clue is the #2018radioisours hashtag, which has nothing to do with Joanne nor ASIB because the guy that tweeted it has nothing to do with the soundtrack. Plus, she needs new content to kick off the residency and ASIB is not part of that. First of all because the genre is probably not something you expect from a Gaga show in Vegas, and also because most likely the GP won't even know this movie exist. That being said, Gaga liked tweets saying that the Joanne video was a great way to end the era, and the tour ends in less than a month, so yes, the era is coming to an end. Gaga also talked about debuting new music on tour, and she did merge the end of a tour with the beginning of a new era in the past. Now, as of the Grammys, it's pretty obvious that she's gonna perform Joanne, which is a closer for the era. My scenario is that she performs the new version of Joanne as a tribute and closer to this era. If she wins any type of award, she's gonna announce something. She already did that at the VMAs for BTW. Assuming something is coming this year and that they really want to be on the radio all year long, I think it's about time to at least spill some tea about an upcoming project. Not talking about a surprise release thing, but if something is coming, I expect promo to start soon, and the Grammys are the best place for that. What do you think ? It would ruin the atmosphere and the ending of the Joanne era for her to just immediately push a new project. It's obvious that she wants to leave the era on a good note, and she wants it to feel very cathartic. Pushing a new album/era immediately just seems like it'll be too rushed. Most Grammy performance are either for tributes or because the artists are nominated, and they usually sing the nominated songs.
