I think we need a Democrat who can attract the poor white voters who gravitated towards Trump. I don’t think Bernie is that person. Too risky for what’s at stake. Being a VP to attract the more liberal faction of the Dem party could be a good plan. A great example of how if enough of the public back it, politicians are forced to listen. Democratic voters need to raise their standards tbh. Embarrassingly illogical things exist in our political process that undermine the whole point of democracy and this is because voters concede for “lesser of two evils.” Enough. You want to get progressive AND white worker class votes? Forget free college and healthcare. Target political corruption as your main platform. Don’t expect that from Harris, though. Well, I give them about 30% of the blame 60% is for the lies, misinformation, fake scandals, etc. 5% because she's a she. The final 5% is her own fault for not paying attention to important states and not handling the fake scandals well I also just don't think Bernie would be effective. Definitely leagues better than Trump, that's not even up for debate, but yeah. I'd much rather a left-of-center person got in over an almost radical left. I'm still hoping Hillary runs again she deserves to win and I absolutely adore everything she stood for in 2016. Her plans for the energy sector alone and a REAL plan for free higher education and a single payer healthcare system Actually, Clinton/Sanders would be my dream ticket for 2020.
