In all seriousness, I'm actually kind of excited. She's a good writer, and I really enjoyed Halcyon. Plus, her voice sounded incredible in LMLYD and Falling For You. Hope it comes out good!

i actually think LG6 will be a safety net for ASIB

well i 20% think this since i realised the no promotion for The Cure might have been intentional to test how well she does commercially without even trying and tbh, it did pretty well

i think it's safe to bet on pop bops coming back and i think they'll push for at least one hit so that if the movie flops, everyone will just talk about the music instead and we'll just breeze past that and get back to the music  

i wouldn't be surprised if she uses 2019 to tour the world whilst she does the residency meaning she does less american dates, more Asia/AU/EU/LA dates

idk it's all up in the air until we know some key information, like how hard they plan on pushing the soundtrack/the dates for vegas/a newer indication on how far into LG6 they are since we can only place where they've started

I still don't think she is going to release LG6 this year.

I think she is going to release singles through DJWS, Bloodpop and Redone. And if the lead of ASIB like The Shallow or whatever is a ballad americans can appreciate like Million Reasons, maybe they can push that one aswell. 

And tbh, if Beyoncé and Rihanna (and maybe even Adele ?) are releasing this year as rumored, it may be better for Gaga to wait until 2019 for LG6.

This tbh, even this era she dragged old hits a lot, i think it has become annoying even for her but then again she’s kinda forced to do it at some events (Carpool Karaoke, SuperBowl etc.). 

The cool thing is that despite it wasn’t a blockbuster and smash hit, they managed to make Million Reasons become one of her signature hits, so let’s hope they’ll do the same with her new releases that deserve it in the near future.

Still wondering about the timing for LG6 release.

Before ASIB was pushed back to October, i thought that LG6 would have come out in 2019. Now i think that it could even be out this year to also promote Vegas residency, we’ll see.

Nah, it also depends who sings it. 2014 world cup songs were non events, and Waka Waka didn’t shine exceptionally in the US (and maybe even in other anglophone big markets, i don’t remember).

if it's this year:

they must have very versatile plans for the album promo or nothing major booked (yet) like talkshows etc idk

were holding off most of the big stuff until 2019

or it was just never meant to come out this year  idk, they were making the album whilst discussing her vegas contract, they have to be planned around each other and really don't see sense in her wasting time for an album now if it won't come out until after vegas
