What does Havana mean?

All I could think when I saw this was: "Wow, the youth of today really need to learn their geography." :awkney: Though, in all fairness, I'm sure even most adults wouldn't even know Cuba's capital. Geography is not the same as it was in the past. When I got it in school, I thought I was going to be learning about the names of capitals, rivers, landmarks. Nope. They just teach you stuff about erosion, earthquakes, volcanoes and global warming now. Which is relevant and all, but damn, it doesn't half make make for an uncultured generation.

My mom knew what and where Havana is. I'm now just embarrassed lol
