Where are all of the numbers tho? When I look up the boxoffice, a lot of dates are blank...

But also, why is it taking so long to get this info?

Do you know how often I get told this? People do read some of these things, actually. Just because some people like short and sweet posts doesn't mean everyone does. What I wrote needed to be said, no matter how long it took. Whether anyone reads it or not, it's theraputic for me to do this.

I LOVE reading your posts  They're always so interesting and insightful. You should make more threads!

Didn't her shows in Europe and Australia supposedly sell better than her dates in the US?

Yes and no. She's always been popular in Australia, however, the drastically lower amount of dates this time compared to the Prismatic tour (11 dates is a lot less than 23) is very telling. Not to mention, she's advertised the giveaway of 8k tickets there as part of a televised promotion (the ad where she got criticised for encouraging her dog to go chase some koalas). So, the tickets certainly won't be the big bucks they were last time. I looked up her UK dates and they're surprisingly very well sold out. The Glasgow date has almost every seat taken but there's still heavy availability for the standing area and the most expensive area right in the pit and the second London date is struggling to sell on the middle upper sections. But overall, very well. However, the fact that London is the only city for which a second date has been announced is very telling. Usually when you sell out that way so early (the UK dates don't begin until June 14), a second date is par for the course, so that partnered with the fact that all her UK dates have been laid out so close together so as second dates aren't even possible, it's like her label know that she only has enough demand for one date per city apart from the capital and don't want to risk putting on a second show only to have it embarassingly cancelled. I haven't looked at the rest of Europe (can anyone find ticketmaster information from outside the UK and US?) but seeing as again, she has only one date per country apart from Germany, Netherlands and France, I don't hold out much hope for strong sales. Witness went down about as well as Joanne in Europe, that's why their choice of dates and amount of dates are so similar.
