How would Joanne been titled if Gaga had been born in your country?

If you "translate" to Portuguese it will be Joana (Just like some Brazilian fans like to refer to it). However, as it was inspired by her late aunt, if she had been born in Brazil, her name would probably be Maria :lolga:

In France I haven't never heard of anyone called Joanne. I met some girls called Joana, Joanna or Johanna. Maybe Jeanne but it's the French equivalent for "Jane". And we have Joan, Johan (pronounced like Joanne) but these are male names, so I guess that French people shouldn't call their daughter Joanne because orally, it would be mistaken as a male name.

It is Jeanne or Jeanette, because they all relate to Jean, John, Johannes, etc., all variations of the same root.
