Also, she has worked on new music right after ARTPOP and we waited for 3 years to get a "proper" album. Also, she must have a dozen fantastic songs from before which could make an amazing album, so if she wanted, she could pull it out today if she wanted to. Not to go off topic, but this makes me wonder whether Gaga's contract with Interscope can be found online. I'd love to read it and understand what her commitments to Interscope are. I read Kesha's contract with Dr. Luke/Prescription/Kemosabe/RCA/Sony and found it absolutely fascinating (law student with free time don't judge me).
