They got rid of "menage a trois" (I can't do the accents on my keyboard sorry  :flop:) in 'Last Friday Night' so I think they'd get rid of the "scheisse" in this song  And yeah I can imagine them cutting off a bulk of the beginning, which would suck because although it's repetitive it builds up to the amazingness that's on the way

That's very different, everyone knows what that means

I knew the meaning of “scheisse” before the song came out and I didn’t know the meaning of “ménage a trois” until the song came out

Really?? That's crazy to me.

It's mentioned in like every R rated comedy from the 90s and 00s, so maybe that's why it seems so common to me and who I'm around.

There's no way radio would play it :toofunny: German or not people would complain about it and radio wouldn't risk it

They would’ve played anything Gaga released in 2011. She was the biggest star in the world at that time. So I’m still pissed her record label chose Judas over it :saladga:

In my opinion radio edit would sound like coachella version of the song without gibberish german and with shortened intro.

I think radio would just jump right to the verse. I don't think they would censor anything =) it's a different and VERY unspoken language in America.

Unspoken? go to Virginia and states where German inmigrants arrived some time ago and they'll probably know what "Scheisse" mean.

Judas was a main reason for her fall.

Scheisse is an absolute banger, and probably goes the hardest in her discography.

That said, a lot of it is built around its... unconventional structure, particularly the fake gibberish. If it was reformatted to fit what radio seems fit, I feel like a lot of its magic would be lost.

I mean, unless the general audience was somehow very much okay with it as a whole.

3 points in and ready for more
