“Blind for Love” lmao shut up y’all

if your man turned out be KKK or be a pedo you can’t just be “blinded.” If she has a problem w it, she do, if she don’t, she don’t.

Look up Camille Cosby and tell me love doesn't affect people's moral compasses

I mean... she could just be over it?

Offset made some inarticulate responses in the past but I don't think that condemning him as a homophobe as gay stans are quickly to do with anyone is the way to go about things. And if I was her, instead of engaging, I'd probably block them too. You can only beat a dead horse so long

If she’s so tired of it then she should speak to it and end it. Not block a fan

I don't think she's obligated to speak on it if she doesn't consider it a big issue. What I'm seeing most often is people making a mountain out of a mole hill and hounding her over the behavior of others as if Cardi herself is some moral compass. :madge:

Not a big issue:cryga:

To devalue what's important to me like that. Smh.

I'm over her now. Let those who she speaks up for stand by her. It won't be me.

Again, this isn't the first time Cardi has went off excusing her own words. At some point people need to learn how to be a positive public influencer. Even if she still supported her bf that doesn't mean she has to be nasty about it.

Well unfortunately it looks like her chances of a collab with Gaga will most likely become slimmer and slimmer cuz of this. It sucks cuz I like her and I think a song together would be cool but :(

What exactly are you talking about? I said perhaps "she doesn't consider it a big issue"... I don't think that's a personal attack on you whatsoever. But yeah, I wouldn't feed time or energy into people that you feel aren't deserving of your time or energy.

Half of this website can casually "bop" to Reputation, meanwhile the artist of said record is hailed by Nazis as their blue-eyed goddess and she can't take two seconds to denounce such association. I mean, we can pick and choose where we please all day long, but if we are going to burn one artist at the stake for sticking up for her boyfriend - however nasty (I mean, is blocking people these days really considered something inhumane? Lord...) - then we will need to burn them all at the stake for these individual grievances.

I'm sick of blind spots people have for certain artists who are legit titans in an industry, but want to pick bones with an up-and-coming artist who may not have received the best education growing up or be quite able to articulate her intentions as crystal clear as possible?

Let’s not act like this is the first ever event in which a female rap artist is taking the side of her loved one during a controversy.

Nicki Minaj and her pedofile brother? Everyone just swept that under the rug. I’m going to laugh at the double standard if Cardi is not given the same luxury just because she’s on top and people want to tear her down because they’re annoyed by the amount of attention she’s getting right now.

By no means am I justifying Offset’s remarks or the way Cardi is handling it, but I’m curious to see how this will play out. Nicki, Iggy, Cardi... they’re all problematic, but they’re career depends on how many people are willing to turn a blind eye to it.

Pop stars are as likely as well. As are rock stars. And country musicians. I mean, at the end of the day, they are human with flaws. And the limelight accentuates those.

The bolded remark is pretty much what this all boils down to.

What I don’t understand is why people attack the partners of people they don’t like. Offset said these words, so why should Cardi have to speak on his behalf? He’s a grown man she don’t have anything to do with what he says. Let him take the fall, why drag her down because he made an ignorant comment.
