Performances that make Gaga, "Gaga"

GGD, I'm tipsy and going down memory lane. :lolga:

So, even as a Alejandro stan, this live version of "Yoü and I" really encapsulates Gaga to me.  From her outfit to the unreleased nature of the song; to her telling you to grab the ass of the person next to you and to 'Make a ****ing friend"; to the pop/rock vibes, to her rocking the guitar and piano with her high-heel, to the jazz sounds at the end :tony:....     Lollapalooza 2010 made me fall farther in love with her all those years ago.

Do you fellow hunties have any other similar performances or stories to share? :diane:  Any songs or live versions that "bring you back" or make you romanticize a moment in life?  Sorry for the random thread---feel free to shut my ass down, mods :poot:

Anyway, hope all is well fellow GGD friends!

(Other live tracks that come to mind include Swine, MJH, J&D Interlude)

DITD at the brits

Just watched it again and--wow--it's kind of eerie and avant-garde.  CreepyGa got me shook.

Thank you for saying this! :tony:

Her performance art at its highest, I think.  So dark, colorful, deep.  :firega:

[Also, the whole Aura "roast" at SXSW!]

Not just that but the amount of RAGEEE. That's what I love so much about it. Took me a few watches to get over the vomiting, but I'm glad I did

You're so right to describe it as rage.  The whole "F--k you pop music...this is ARTPOP!"  Plus, the gut-wrenching nature behind the song itself.  :saladga:

little legend

all the Poker Face performance

the real Gaga is on Poker Face performances :

-the iconic muh muh muh intro ,knowing that something big will happened

-having so much energy and passion

-and being so confident like i am the greatest and most talented aritist of all time

-her outfits +production

all these + performing the biggest smash of the decade and the biggest song in the world (in 2009)

that PokerFace-Gaga is the reason that i became stan

ELEMENTALITY

I had never actually seen that Lolapalooza performance before....and honestly it reminded me how ****ing talented and unique she is. I wish she was that kind of bizarrely talented again. The soft rock of Joanne is just.....

not that.

sorry.
