rumours 45,521
#3 Go Your Own Way Score: 9.09 Highest Score: 11 @datlastfam Lowest Score: 5.5 @calmar Comments: @Edge of Fame: “A classic. Everything from the driving momentum to the passionate lyrics, vocals, and instrumentation make this a truly iconic gem. A song that you can truly hear the band’s tension on.” @GypsyHeartGaga: “One of their hugest hits, and I grew up hearing this song a lot.” @That J: “Yet another huge anthem, Go Your Own Way is a firecracker of a song with killer harmony and a get up and move swagger. Just another great classic on an album full of them.” @blackcoffee: “This was one of my possible choices for the 11, but I'm saving that for later. Go Your Own Way is colossal and it's a classic. It's bombastic and just full of this raging emotion. The lyrics are so great and Lindsey delivers them perfectly. The harmonies in the chorus are among their best. I have such a deep appreciation for this song. I've heard it dissected on a radio show track-by-track and wow. This song is layered like no other and each part is just so good! John's bass work is an underrated beast, Mick's drums almost tribal, and then that guitar! Lindsey is an underrated guitarist and Go Your Own Way is a such a testament to his unique guitar sound.” @Oriane: “I love the instrumental, it has a great progression.” @calmar: “I know this is arguably the best known song on the album, but I never liked this song to a great degree, and especially compared to the rest of the stuff on Rumours, I’d argue it’s definitely not the best one. But it does fit the aesthetic and sonic landscape the album has been demonstrating thus far.” @that juju: “I hear this and immediately remember my childhood, it's drenched in nostalgia.” Special Live Performance:
