Fascination 1,130
Do you really think it’s weird that people change? Ten years ago Gaga literally wore disgusting spray tans and ugly one dollar store wigs. She even wore light black face on the cover of V Magazine. Now, Gaga has changed so much (in a good way) she looks beautiful and healthy, she’s rich and popular enough to serve us amazing tours like the Joanne World Tour which is better than any Gaga tour ever. She spreads happiness and kindness. She got a ****ing standing ovation from the former US presidents. She did the ****ing Super Bowl Halftime Show. Gave us performances with BEAUTIFUL vocals. Why can’t we be happy with what we have? Why can’t we be happy SHE’S STILL MAKING MUSIC? Like she literally could stop making music for YEARS. She doesn’t even need to make music anymore. But she’s doing it for us. For herself. She doesn’t care about hits. She cares ABOUT US.

NIGHTCRAWLER 6,985
I agree, she's getting better day by day and she's an incredible woman. I wasn't excepting that from her when I started stanning, and even though I might at times be disappointed cause she's not as crazy as before, she's a humble and talented woman and I think I love this even more. Spoiler that doesn't mean I'm not waiting for this smashing 2018 electro pop album

PopThatArt 2,193
It's the f*cking iGeneration aka Generation Z and their obsession with number ones and huge sales that destroy everything and are constantly expecting Gaga to be number one and be mainstream and "serve" "bops " and the same typical pop songs. Blame them. Go see A Star is Born

Chic 20,830
She was only at the Super Bowl because of the time period you're desecrating, she sure as hell wouldn't have gotten there if her career started at ARTPOP tbh

Arcanum 5,155
Gaga 10 years ago was a powerful dominating force in the music industry not (just) in terms of sales, but in every aspect. The reason why u stan her today is because FameGa existed. The point everyone is making, and I totally agree with, is that we miss the days when every move of hers was a cultural & musical event. It's not about missing her being #1, it's about missing her incredible creative force in the media. I Wantth your Love...I Wantth your Love.

JanStan 574
I completely agree and I was one of those people who learned by randomly coming across YouTube videos (before I was a Stan) that she wasn't a typical pop girl competing for chart placements and instead was a TRUE legend in the making. I see her career trajectory being more similar to Barbara Streisand or Bette Midlers than to Madonnas. That's to say that she will be remembered far more for her legendary talent than her legendary commercial success (regarldless of how successful she is). Ok, but some people prefer avant-garde, boundary pushing, art-freak, fashion-obsessed Gaga and that's ok. Don't tell people how they can and cannot stan a pop star. It's juvenile and small-minded, and it's not up to you.
