What is Gaga’s best album lyrically in your opinion and why?

I would say Born This Way because the lyrics are so well-written,brilliant and beautiful💙

Best written songs on the album:

Marry The Night,Born This Way,Hair,ScheiBe,Bloody Mary,The Queen,Electric Chapel,Yoü And I and The Edge Of Glory

And If I had to rank them:

1.Born This Way

2.The Fame Monster

3.ARTPOP

4.Joanne

5.The Fame

Feel free to share your opinion:)

This is something I’ve never thought about before and really tough   The Fame would be on the bottom for sure. I feel like the writing has gotten better with each album.

1. BTW

2. Joanne

3. TFM (less songs and Telephone is on it so it doesn't deserve Top 2 :lolga:)

And I think I would say 4. TF and 5. AP.

BTW was great but lyrically? It's probably the worst.

I just want to be free, I just want to be me
And I want lots of friends that invite me to their parties

ShockPop

Lyrically btw kept to it's lane and did what it should.

However, ARTPOP took lyricism to the abstract level in most tracks.

Born This Way,which has songs like Bloody Mary,The Edge Of Glory,The Queen,Hair and Born This Way,the worst?

It's hot to feel the rush
To brush the dangerous
I'm gonna run right to
To the edge with you
Where we can both fall far in love

BTW mainly for MTN, BTW, Edge of Glory, The Queen (fight me), etc

I voted for the good sis Joanne because as a whole, it’s very lyrically raw. Whereas BTW, ARTPOP, and others have some questionable lyrical content on some songs :lolly:

“I want your horror I want your design 'Cause you're a criminal As long as your mine I want your love Love-love-love
I want your love. I want your psycho, your vertigo shtick, Want you in my rear window Baby you're sick”

“Marilyn, Judy, Sylvia Tell 'em how you feel girls!Work your blond (Jean) Benet Ramsey We'll haunt like Liberace
Find your freedom in the music
Find your Jesus, find your Kubrick
You will never fall apart
Diana, you're still in our hearts
Never let you fall apart
Together we'll dance in the dark”

These Lyrics alone make TFM one of the best

Every album has its wonders and flaws lyrically but I would say Joanne - ARTPOP - BTW. Joanne is the most consistent and mature. ARTPOP has everything : artistic, abstract, weird, funny, sad... BTW has a lot of great empowering and abstract lyrics but sometimes the empowering has its limits and becomes cringey.
