Mr S 8,672
I remain skeptical and still expect negative reviews. It can't flop like glitter because she has a big co star, but perhaps more burlesque like. However making it gritty is a great idea to avoid it being too campy/cheesy Here's hoping they're right. KingRedd 3,139
lol this fanbae is so skeptical about everything we just cannot take anymore meltdowns or heartbreaks... I’m staying optimistic on this movie. Something about it gives me a successful vibe. May I Read You? 😎

No. this is a saying that refers to simple/fundamental/basic--as in, this version appears to be more of a stripped-down retelling. I don't know why it shocks me that people can't look up references before posting.

I saw that same article you were talking about and it was just movies that were potentially going to be nominated. Even right now i can't even find that article, and i just spent 3 whole minutes looking.

danilov 288
hello, can anyone explain to me why October is Oscar season? Isn't it that movies released in 2018 for example, are eligible for 2019 academy awards? Thanks!!

DrewPa 3,762
the problem is that "Oscars favorite" could mean anything WB could have seen a potential in the Soundtrack, not necessarily in the whole movie, or Gaga's performance... Oh well, if she gets an Oscar as a songwriter I would be more than glad anyway I'm a real Fire CRRRACKERRR
