Tom Nook 37,808 Posted January 2, 2018 Share Posted January 2, 2018 I didn’t really enjoy the adaptations of the first 3 books as much as I thought I would say what you want about the movie but I thought it was slightly more enjoyable despite some of inconsistencies with the book but with that said I did enjoy The Miserable Mill and I can’t wait to see how the others look Uh Red Wine... An odd blend of extreme camp, grisly death, betrayal and espionage, darkness, and humor. I wish it were a little less funny (Sry NPH ) and the musical number at the end of S1 WAS TOTALLY UNNECESSARY but other than that, I'm a fan. I'm hyped for s2, but praying they manage to finish the whole series. It gives me Tim Burton, Neil Gaiman vibes and I love how they change quickly between sugary sweet to gruesomely morbid and sad Plus, they're more consistent and true to the story in the books in contrast to the movie.
