Is wetmess a better album than the piece of art that is ARTPOP ? But, I was like : NO.mp3 no no no ARTPOP, not just as an album but as an era in whole, is a masterpiece. A very raw, authentic, ravy, crazy, artistic, ethereal masterpiece. For me, no album can top it, it's very close to my heart. RochestrMonstr 2,274 Posted December 31, 2017 Share Posted December 31, 2017 Iâll always love ARTPOP. Itâs currently tied with BTW as my second favorite, only beaten by Joanne. She was still over-the-top for the ARTPOP era, and the music was crazier than ever, yet she still somehow seemed more down to earth and less pretentious than her previous eras (like in interviews). I loved ARTPOPâs looks (especially Big Hair + Seashell Bikini, in my avatar) I donât get the Witness comparison though. Witness, in my opinion, is not only vastly inferior, but not even comparable. ARTPOP is a wacky colorful spectacle that took on more negative publicity based on Gagaâs image at the time than it did for the actual quality of the music.
